Smudge Book
Smudge was a group book project. Together we designed, wrote and made the book, it is a humorous and novelty limited edition book for adults. It is based on the true story found in an online article of an octopus that was found in a bottle in the ocean and was took to an aquarium to grown and was later returned to the ocean. Our story played on this fact but encompassed fictional thoughts and encounters of the octopus we named 'Smudge'. The cover and end pages were screen printed, and the final book is hardbound.
